Software Engineer, Windows CE

Triton is currently seeking a self motivated Software Engineer to develop software for or in support of Automated Teller Machines (ATMs). This position is responsible for all areas of the software lifecycle and requires the ability to work individually as well as part of a team.

The following are requirements for the position:

  • BS in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering
  • Proficiency in Visual C++ and MFC
  • Experience with Windows CE or Pocket PC application development
  • Experience with serial communications
  • 2+ years of related experience
  • Software design and object oriented design experience

The following are pluses for Software Engineer candidate:

  • Experience with .NET programming languages (VB.NET, C#)

Oracle Database Administrator

Job Description:
Triton Systems is seeking an Oracle Database Administrator who will be involved in the daily activities of configuration and operation of the company's Oracle Databases and Oracle Applications.  Optimizes system operations and resource utilization and performs system capacity analysis and planning.  Monitors and supports patch control and database configuration.  Ensures that the non-production environments are kept in sync with the Oracle production database.  Responsible for database backups,  fault tolerance and replication.

Responsibilities:

  • Install, upgrade, maintain, monitor, patch and tune Oracle 9i,10g, and 11g databases.
  • Play a key role in planning and migrating company databases from Oracle 9i to 11g environments.
  • Provide support to developers and users with trouble-shooting and performance tuning, including SGA analysis, latch contention analysis, disk subsystem tuning and SQL tuning of Oracle and custom views and queries.
  • Independent assignments and/or project participation.
  • Maintain and develop backup/recovery process for Oracle Databases using RMAN, BCV or scripts for online and offline backups.
  • Maintain replication process to ensure Disaster Recovery site remains current.
  • Create monitors and alerts for user sessions, concurrent processes, table extents and locks for production and test/development systems.
  • Oracle Database and associated Technical Stack patch analysis, planning and application.
  • Assist in managing and implementing Oracle Application (11i) patch program.
  • Support for 3rd party applications and monitoring tools.

Job Requirements:

  • In-depth working knowledge of Linux environment.
  • Practical knowledge of parallel concurrent processing, tracing and debugging, managing database and applications security.
  • Languages: PL/SQL, SQL, Unix shell scripting, Java, HTML
  • Databases: Oracle 11g, 10g, Oracle 9i.

  • Experience with tools such as Oracle Enterprise Manager, Custom-scripting, Toad, Oracle Discoverer.
  • Experience with EMC SANCopy, SnapView, Analyzer preferred
  • Experience with RedHAt Linux preferred
  • Experience with Oracle 11i Applications.
  • Experience Implementing and maintaining RAC environments a plus.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment a plus
