According to Triton’s president, Brian Kett, financial institutions and retailers that participated in beta testing noted that the RL5000’s Intel XScale processor provides the power and performance of a full PC-based ATM with the efficiency and reliability that they expect from Triton.

The RL5000 standard features include an encrypting PIN pad (EPP) for full compliance with MasterCard’s® Triple DES mandate. Triton’s RL5000 features an eye-catching 10.4 inch color LCD screen, an 80mm thermal printer presenter, a USB device port and four USB master ports for slave devices, an EMV Level I certified card reader, and two PCMCIA card slots simplifying the customization of advanced functionality including revenue generating and advertising capabilities.
